Jaap Blonk is a self-taught composer, performer and poet. As a vocalist, he is unique for his powerful presence and almost childlike freedom in improvisation, combined with a keen grasp of structure. He has performed all around the world and is currently on tour celebrating Dadaism’s 100th anniversary. With the use of live electronics the scope and range of his concerts has acquired a considerable extension.

Sound artist, composer and improviser Pascal Battus develops a sound practice more attentive to sound gestures, listening and context, than to a defined instrument. He plays electromagnetic pickups and has already several releases out to document his distinctive work in sound sculpting.

Saxophonist Georg Wissel calles himself „sculptor of compressed air“. Inspired by the work with electronic musicians he always restarts the search for new sounds by preparing his instrument. „Electrosapiens“ Joker Nies focusses on analog electronics, building his own circuit-bend Omnichord, carefully selected and modified electronics and modular-synths. Together they let the listener be part of an associative process, in which structures of sound as well as pure frequencies and bizarre melodies develop through musical sensibility and lust for sound.
