Als Bildhauer erfindet Erik Alalooga seine eigenen experimentellen Musikinstrumente und stellt sie als Performance Artist in musikalischen Kontext. Der interdisziplinäre Künstler Villem Jahu ist nach Arbeit an Installationen stark beeinflußt von Music Concrète, Noise und Lo-Fi Ästhetik. Zusammen bringen sie mit Elektronik und mechanischem Instrumentarium beste Impro aus der estnischen Hauptstadt Tallinn in den Mex-Keller.

Das Engerling Ensemble entwickelt kosmischen Noise mit Modular Synthesizern und präparierten elektronischen Spielzeugen. Manchmal kommen auch ihre „Dream Machines“ zum Einsatz, die ihre Space Drones begleiten.

„The Multiverse Ennui“ sind Gitarrist Jonas Van den Bossche & Elektroniker Benne Dousselaere aus Gent in Belgien. Sie begrüßen den Widerspruch sowie die Veränderung und erforschen den nahtlosen Übergang von Noise zur Melodie zur Stille und zurück. Besonders genießen sie die Überraschungen der Kollaboration.

As a sculptor Erik Alalooga creates his DIY experimental music instruments and puts it into context as performance artist. Interdisciplinary artist Villem Jahu is after working on installations strongly influenced by Musique Concrète, Noise and lo-fi aesthetics. Together they bring with electronics and mechanical instruments finest impro from the Estonian capital city Tallinn into the mex cellar.
