Die in Berlin lebende Sängerin, Klangkünstlerin und Komponistin Alessandra Eramo untersucht in ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit die Beziehung und die Spannung zwischen Vokalität und Schreiben durch Klang, Performance, Installation, Zeichnung und Video. Ihre Stimme als Hauptinstrument wird von ihr radikal erweitert um eine persönliche viszerale und archaische Sprache zu entdecken. Dabei erkundet sie deren Phonetik, ihre Körperlichkeit und tranceartige Zustände.

Achim Zepezauer kuratiert seit 2015 die mex-konzerte und veranstaltet in Kooperation mit dem Makroscope zum ersten Mal einen „mexport“, in dem das Format, das seine Tradition seit 26 Jahren im Keller des Künstlerhauses in Dortmund zelebriert, nach Mülheim gebracht wird. Dazu wird er ein Solo mit einer Kaffeemaschine spielen.

Jérôme Noetinger stammt aus Marseille, komponiert gerne Musique Concrète im Studio und bringt improvisierte Musik auf die Bühne mit seiner Bandmaschine Revox A44. Außerdem arbeitet er auch mit anderem elektro-akustischen Equipment wie Tonbandgeräten, analogen Synthesizern, Effektgeräten, Kontaktmikrophonen, Haushaltsgeräten, Lautsprechern und Mischpulten.

Alessandra Eramo is an Italian-born and Berlin-based sound artist and vocalist. Best known for her „Solo with Voice and Electronics“, she works with live-performance, installation, video and drawing, exploring latent acoustic territories of the human voice and Noise as socio-political matter. The essence of the voice to trace a new sense of beauty in sound and language. Blurring the line between performance art, experimental music and sound poetry, her artistic production often adopts relational aesthetics and addresses questions about memory and identity.

Achim Zepezauer curates the mex-concerts since 2015 and is now for the first time organizing a „mexport“ in cooperation with the Makroscope. Exporting the format to Mülheim, that traditionally is at home in the cellar of the Künstlerhaus Dortmund since 26 years. Therefor he will perform a solo with the use of a coffee machine.

Jérôme Noetinger hails from Marseille, composes musique concrète in the studio and performs improvised music using his reel to reel tape recorder Revox A77 as well as other electroacoustic devices such as analogue synths, household objects, DIY electronica, speakers, microphones and mixers.
