Das Genthon_Marchetti Duo arbeitet an einer Komposition, die den Raum als einen der wesentlichen Vektoren begreift, insofern als eine akustische Antwort durch die Anordnung von Lautsprechern und Klanglautstärken das eigentliche Substrat bildet, auf dem die Musik natürlich ruht. Sie erfinden eine Form von Duett, bei dem der Körper der Violine selbst scheinbar in die Plastizität der synthetischen Klänge übergeht, und bauen durch subtile Inszenierung der Lautsprecherprojektion ein musikalisches Werk, das auf räumliche Emanation aus einem Fokuspunkt besteht – wie ein einzelnes Auge, ein Leuchtturm, ein Leuchtturm, der den Weg eines bezaubernden Mythos anzeigen würde, oder zumindest eine Richtung, die als Lebensader betrachtet werden kann, ein magnetischer Pol.

The Genthon_Marchetti duo works on a composition that takes space into account as one of the essential vectors in the sense that an acoustic response, through the arrangement of loudspeakers and sound volumes, becomes the very substratum on which the music will naturally rest. Inventing a form of duet in which the body of the violin itself seems to melt into the plasticity of the synthetic sounds, the two instrumentalists build, by subtly staging the loudspeaker projection, a musical work insisting on spatial emanation from a focal point – like a single eye, a lighthouse, a beacon that would indicate the path of an enchanting myth, or at least a direction to be considered as a life line, a magnetic pole.

Laure Boer ist Multiinstrumentalistin und Sängerin mit Sitz in Berlin. Ihre Musik ist inspiriert von elektronischer und traditioneller Volksmusik. Ihre Darbietungen sind hypnotische Improvisationen rund um traditionelle Instrumente, seltsame Percussionen und manchmal französische Texte; Ein lebendiges Universum, das sowohl verletzlich als auch brutal ist.

Simon Camatta ist ein international bekannter Improvisations- und Jazzschlagzeuger. Er fällt durch abendfüllende, improvisierte Schlagzeug Solokonzerte und interdisziplinäre Arbeiten an außergewöhnlichen Off-Orten aus dem üblichen Rahmen. Auf seinem Album „This is not a Solo Record“ arbeitete er mit Gästen und Field Recordings. Er studierte Jazz an der Folkwang UdK Essen, spielt Shows mit verschiedenen Gruppen, in Theater und mit freien Tanzkompanien. Ausserdem arbeitet er mit bildenden Künstlerinnen im Rahmen seines Projektes „Schlagzeug trifft Leinwand“, Er kuratiert zwei Festivals und lebt in Essen.

Laure Boer is a multi-instrumentalist and singer based in Berlin. Her music is inspired by electronic and traditional folk music. Her performances are hypnotic improvisations around traditional instruments, odd percussions and sometimes French texts; a vibrant universe that is both vulnerable and brutal.

Simon Camatta is an internationally renowned improvisational and jazz drummer. He breaks the mold with evening-long, improvised drum solo concerts and interdisciplinary works in unusual, off-site venues. On his album „This is not a Solo Record,“ he collaborated with guests and field recordings. He studied jazz at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and plays shows with various groups, in theaters, and with independent dance companies. He also works with visual artists as part of his project „Drums Meets Canvas.“ He curates two festivals and lives in Essen/Germany
