Aus gegebenem Anlass liegt es nahe, zwischen Anfang und Ende eines Textes einen Zusammenhang zu vermuten. Nichts liegt mex jedoch ferner, als diesen weiter oder auch n\u00e4her zu beschreiben. Nun denn. Vor 20 Jahren gegr\u00fcndet, setzte das Berliner Activity Center<\/strong> vor 10 Jahren mit \u201eM\u00f6wen & Moos\u201c einen der Meilensteine des Genres Gitarren- und Perkussions-Impro. Heute ist das Duo aktiver als je zuvor und hat sein musikalisches Zentrum nicht unerheblich erweitert. Allerlei selbstgebaute Klangerzeuger mit und ohne Saiten, Felle, Verst\u00e4rkung und Verzerrung, diverses Spiel-Zeug (inklussive Laptop) versprechen einen maximalistisch regen Gig, bei dem Renkel und Beins sich nichts schenken \u2013 das aber zum Besten der Musikalit\u00e4t. \u00c4hnliches gilt f\u00fcr das 2. oder 1. Set des Abends \u2013 je nachdem aus welcher Richtung man h\u00f6rt.<\/p>\n
Aus Mexico City, K\u00f6ln und New York jedenfalls kommt das Trio Die Schrauber<\/strong> zu Geh\u00f6r und pr\u00e4sentiert neben vom Aussterben bedrohten Gitarren auch noch diverse elektronische Ger\u00e4te, zumindest letzteres auf \u00fcberbordend vollen Tischen. Musik zum Sitzenbleiben und Lauschen, anders ausgedr\u00fcckt: eine schr\u00e4ge Mischung aus Gitarre, Realtime Live Sound Processing, Omnichord, Circuit Bent Instruments, SPK\u00ae und Glitch Sampling. Aus der raffinierten und direkten Kontrolle \u00fcber ihre elektronischen Instrumente ergeben sich dichte musikalische Texturen und energische Interaktion, aber auch stille Passagen. Tammen kontrolliert die vom Aussterben bedrohte Gitarre, Nies kontaktiert sensible Widerst\u00e4nde und De Vegas hat ein Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr Teleo-basierte Ann\u00e4herungen. Da d\u00fcrfte kein Weg zu weit sein!<\/p>\n

Due to given circumstances it seems to be obvious to assume a connection between a beginning and an end of a text. Nothing stands farther to reason for mex however, to describe this further or even closer. Anyway. Founded 20 years ago, the Berlin based Activity Center<\/strong> sets one of the milestones of the genre guitar and percussions-impro 10 years ago with \u201eM\u00f6wen & Moos\u201d. Today the duo is more active than ever before and has extended its musical center not insubstantially. All kinds of self-built sound producers with and without strings, skins, amplification and distortion, various toys (laptop included) promise a maximalistic lively gig, at which Renkel and Beins do not give themselves anything \u2013 however for the good of the musicality. Something similar applies to the second or first set of the evening \u2013 depending on the direction of one\u2019s listening. <\/em><\/p>\n
From Mexico City, Cologne and New York the Trio Die Schrauber<\/strong> comes into hearing and present beside endangered guitars also various electronic devices, at least the latter ones on excessively full tables. Music for the seats, remain seated and listen, differently expressed: a weird mixture of guitar, real-time live sound processing, omnichord, circuit bent instruments, SPK\u00ae and glitch sampling. From the clever and direct control over their electronic instruments result dense musical textures and energetic interactions, but also quiet passages. Tammen controls the endangered guitar, Nies contacts sensitive resistances and De Vegas has a feeling for teleo-based approximations. There should be no way to far!<\/em><\/p>\n
