Mit an Bord sind allerfeinste Konserven der spanischen Fl\u00f6tistin und Koproduzentin Barbara Held, Fragmente aus russischen Grammatikb\u00fcchern des Kalten Krieges, englische Popmusik des 17. Jahrhunderts und viele Live-Radios. Im Gegensatz zu Long John Silver steht Williams mit beiden Beinen in der Komb\u00fcse und kocht auf dem Elektronikherd ein komplexes Klangmen\u00fc mit mindestens 2 G\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n<p>Urbane, humane und pr\u00e4-konzertante field-recordings sind die Zutaten, die <strong>boris d hegenbart-matsui <\/strong>live mit Elektronik zu einer musikalischen Melange der Extraklasse verr\u00fchrt. Fragmente von Gespr\u00e4chen in verschiedenen Sprachen werden ebenso lautmalerisch eingesetzt wie beispielsweise Aufnahmen von einem orchestralen Instrumente-Stimmen. Alles wird gut gemischt mit einem reichhaltigen, synthetischen Laptopsound; erg\u00e4nzt durch slices&amp;slides, liebensw\u00fcrdig verschrobene Zeichnungen von yumiko matsui.<\/p>\n<p>Mit vielf\u00e4ltig feinf\u00fchligen Formen des Reibens, Schabens und Klopfens begl\u00fcckt <strong>Sascha Demand<\/strong> E-Gitarre und Publikum. Seine weitgehend melodiefreien Miniaturen modifizieren Einzelt\u00f6ne zu Texturen und Mustern. So wummert und vibriert es in jeder Et\u00fcde \u00fcberraschend anders, diverse Verst\u00e4rkerger\u00e4usche inklusive. Seit 2002 kulminieren der Hamburger und der Berliner in ihrem Duo 9kHz. Demands konzentrierte Gitarrenimprovisation wird durch hegenbart-matsuis Prozessierung, durch Eingriffe und Hinzuf\u00fcgungen von leisem Rauschen, Rascheln und Fiepen unterst\u00fctzt und konterkariert. Alles in allem ein mex-Abend, bei dem alle Kulinarienv\u00f6gel wieder sch\u00f6n was in ihre Segelohren kriegen&#8230;<\/p>\n<pre>\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/pre>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2127\" title=\"0803_slides02\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mexappeal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/0803_slides02n1.jpg\" alt=\"yumiko matsui_slides02\" width=\"205\" height=\"141\"\/><\/p>\n<pre>\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/pre>\n<p><em>127 years after the appearance of Stevensen\u2019s novel \u201eThe treasure island\u201c <strong>Christopher Williams<\/strong> sends the<\/em> Hispaniola <em>again on long journey through the Internet and the shoals of the mex-cellar. Also on board are choicest canned goods of the Spanish flutist and Co-producer Barbara Held, fragments from Russian grammar books of the cold war, English Pop of the 17.th Century and many live-radios. In contrast to Long John Silver Williams stands safely with both legs in the galley and cooks a complex sound menu with at least 2 dishes on the electronic stove. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Urban, human and pre-concertante field recordings are the ingredients which <strong>boris d hegenbart matsui <\/strong>mixes up live with electronics to a musical m\u00e9lange of a top class. Fragments of conversations in different languages are fitted in just as onomatopoetic as for example recordings of an orchestral instrument-tuning. Everything is well mixed with a rich, synthetic sound of the laptop; supplemented by slices&amp;slides, amiable quirky drawings of yumiko hegenbart matsui. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>With variously sensitive forms of rubbing, scraping and knocking <strong>Sascha Demand<\/strong> delights e-guitar and audience. His to a large extent melody-free miniatures modify single tones to textures and samples. That way it hums and vibrates in each etude surprisingly differently \u2013 various sound of the amplifier included. Since 2002 the Hamburger and the Berliner culminate in their duo 9kHz. Demand\u2019s concentrated guitar improvisation is supported and counteracted by hegenbart matsui\u2019s processing, interferences and addition of low swooshes, rustling and cheeping.
