Raucher machen kurze Ger\u00e4usche. Schon l\u00e4nger aufgeh\u00f6rt zu qualmen haben die Tabakfabrikschlote von Lavapi\u00e9s. Pablo Sanz<\/strong> hat die Resonanzen der alten, nun weitgehend leeren Geb\u00e4ude erforscht, phonographiert und ihre nuancenreiche Stille hinterm Laptopglas konserviert. Live transformiert er das Gefundene: Raumschall, entfernte Stimmen, Schritte, Autos, Wind, Ventilatoren und Mess-Signale, abstrahiert\u2019s vom Ursprungsort und verleiht ihm durch mex-r\u00e4umlichen Remix eine neue, dann akusmatische Pr\u00e4senz.<\/p>\n
Leo Bettinellis<\/strong> Quelle der Tonerzeugung hingegen ist konzertant erstmal ersichtlich: er produziert durchs Hantieren mit Metallblech delikate R\u00fcckkopplungen, und entwickelt sie via Pick-Up digital weiter. Ob er typischerweise Prozessoren, Mikrofone, Oszillatoren oder Radios hinzuzieht, Zimbelchen und Tr\u00f6mmelchen, sei noch nicht verraten, nur so viel: der abwechslungsreiche Ger\u00e4uschfluss wird m\u00fchelos den Weg ins schier unendliche akustische Unterbewusstsein finden und dabei auch postindustrielles Terrain passieren.<\/p>\n
Aus Russland nach Dortmund kommt Ilia Belorukov<\/strong>, um dem Saxofon die abenteuerlichsten, zwitscherndsten wie dr\u00f6hnendsten Alto-Kl\u00e4nge zu entlocken. Aus der wwwweiten Steppe eilt ihm der Ruf voraus, er bringe nicht nur jeden noch so verzerrten oder versprengten Ton zum Schimmern, sondern spiele hie und da auch ohne Mundst\u00fcck. Kultiviert, verfremdend und erstaunlich d\u00fcrften auch die Effekte sein, wenn er anhand etlicher, aus dem Hut gezauberter Utensilien die Messingt\u00f6ne seines Instruments umf\u00e4rbt. Smokers make brief sounds. A long time ago the tobacco factory chimneys of Lavapi\u00e9s stopped smoking. Pablo Sanz<\/strong> has explored and phonographed the resonances of the old, now mostly vacant buildings, and has preserved their shady silence behind the glass of a laptop. Live he transforms the located: space, sound, distant voices, steps, cars, wind, fans and measuring signals, he abstracts them all from their place of origin and awards them, through a special mex-spatial-remix a new, acousmatic presence.<\/em><\/p>\n
Leo Bettinelli‘<\/strong>s source of sound production is by contrast starkly evident in concert form: by handling metal sheets he produces delicate feedback and develops them further digitally via pick-ups. Whether he typically consults processors, microphones, oscillators or radios, small cymbals and little drums, will not be revealed yet, only this much: the diversified sound flow will easily find its way into the almost infinite acoustic subconscious and pass post-industrial terrain in the process.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ilia Belorukov<\/strong> is coming from Russia to Dortmund in order to draw the most adventurous, most twittering-like and most roaring alto sounds from the saxophone. From the wwwwide steppe the word hurries precedes him that he does not only bring every so distorted or scattered sound to shimmer, but plays here and there without a mouthpiece. The effects are certainly cultivated, alienated and amazing, when by means of several utensils pulled out of a hat, the artist repaints the brass tones of his instrument.
