Fr\u00fchling wird\u2019s! Und wenn alle Leute ihre Keller ausr\u00e4umen, h\u00e4lt\u2019s auch mex nicht l\u00e4nger unter Stra\u00dfenniveau, denn angesagt sind drei Soli, die die Ohren mal ordentlich durchpusten.
\nDer 1. experimental-musikalische Feger: Judy Dunaway.<\/strong> Ihr Solo-Instrument ist Luftballon. Virtuos auf dem schmalen Grat dessen balancierend, was sich kontrollieren l\u00e4sst, erzeugt sie extravagante Vibrationen und wilde T\u00f6ne innerhalb und au\u00dferhalb des H\u00f6rspektrums. Streichen, Klopfen und Stretchen entlocken der Latexhaut ein faszinierend mikrotonales Sound-Spektrum zwischen Deep Industrial, Seufzen und Sarangi – absolut unplugged und exorbitant!<\/p>\n
Ebenfalls au\u00dferirdisch, aber mit reichlich Strom und Effektger\u00e4t bespielt 2. Erhard Hirt<\/strong> seine Sechssaiter. Das klingt selten nach Gitarre, doch immer gewagt und gewinnend freitonal: es fiept, grummt und berstet auf\u2019s Kunstvollste; der gespannte Draht wird z\u00e4rtlich rabiat traktiert und magnetisiert. Drones und perkussive Cluster saugen den H\u00f6rer hinaus in bizarr fantastische Welten.<\/p>\n
Doch ganz im Diesseits, hier nagt der Zahn der Zeit – und entfremdet die Dinge von Form und Funktion. Die ihnen verbliebenen Oberfl\u00e4chen erstrahlen nun 3., dank Pierce Warnecke<\/strong>, neu als Sampling abstrakter Identit\u00e4ten: per Sound und Video zelebrieren die vom Fundort audio-visuell entf\u00fchrten Dinge ihr Verschwinden live in real-time, mit einem klangreich k\u00f6rnigen, erquickenden Totentanz voller Textur und Grazie.

Spring is coming! And with everyone clearing out their cellars, mex can\u2019t bear to stay beneath street-level, as three solos which will surely thoroughly cleanse the ears are on the program. The 1st experimental music sweeper is Judy Dunaway<\/strong>. Her solo instrument is the balloon. Balancing virtuosically on the fine line, which can be controlled, she produces extravagant vibrations and wild sounds in and out of the acoustic spectrum. Caressing, knocking and stretching elicit a fascinatingly micro-tonal sound spectrum from the skin of latex, between Deep Industrial, sighing and Sarangi  \u2013 absolutely unplugged and exorbitant!<\/em><\/p>\n
Likewise extraterrestrial, but with plenty of power and effects equipment, our second guest Erhard Hirt <\/strong>plays his 6 string. It rarely sounds like a guitar, but if instead constantly daring and appealingly free tonally: it cheeps, buzzes and bursts highly and artfully; the strained wire is tenderly but ruthlessly bullied and magnetized. Drones and percussive clusters suck the listener dry, lost out in bizarre fantastic worlds.<\/em><\/p>\n

But back in this life, the ravages of time gnaw and alienate things from their form and function. Their remaining surfaces now light up anew, due to number three Pierce Warnecke<\/strong>’s sampling of abstract identities: through sound and video, the audio-visual elements kidnapped from their found spot celebrate their disappearing lives in real-time with a sound-rich granular, refreshing dead dance full of texture and grace. Hear for yourself, and not in the K\u00fcnstlerhaus! Please come, with or without vacuum cleaners, to the Plateau.<\/em><\/p>\n
