Der Herbst ist da, und mit ihm das gemeinschaftliche Stapfen durch raschelnde M\u00fcllt\u00fcten. Begeistert in die Luft geworfen werden Waschmaschinenteile und bunte, unaussprechliche Kl\u00e4nge \u2013 domestic noise, goofiness & messy happenstance<\/em>. Mesh<\/strong> macht m\u00fcde Kenner munter, mit gut sortiertem M\u00fcll und einer grotesk durchgedrehten Performance rei\u00dfen sie den Maschendraht zwischen Tanz und Musik nieder und offenbaren in subversiver Symbiose die ganze Absurdit\u00e4t h\u00e4uslicher Ordnung.<\/p>\n
Das K\u00fcnstler-Duo Senn<\/strong> \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt, basierend auf dem Studium von Waldhorn und Raku-Keramik, das Prinzip der Unkalkulierbarkeit auf die Kombination von informell vern\u00e4hten, ethnografischen Videos und skulpturalen Eigenbau-Instrumenten. Spezialit\u00e4t: automatisierte, genau kalkulierte und choreografierte Sub-Audiofrequenzen in pr\u00e4parierten Lautsprechern versetzen die an einer gespannten Schnur befestigten Schl\u00e4gel in Pendelbewegung, um auf Saiten oder Zimbeln delikate, letztendlich unbeherrschbare Kl\u00e4nge zu erzeugen.<\/p>\n
Ungehemmte Oxidation ist die Obsession von Rust<\/strong>; Laporte und Thigpen lassen mit Pneumatik und feinmechanischer Pr\u00e4zision Latex-Membranen und 3“-R\u00f6hren wild vibrieren. Die komplexe, digitale Signalverarbeitung beruht auf Gestik und mathematischer Willk\u00fcr; zusammen krachen lassen die Anti-Kontrollfreaks auch Piezos, Feedbacks und fr\u00f6nen dabei der Sch\u00f6nheit des instabilen, unvorhersagbaren Klangs. Polyphonie, dichte Texturen, reiche Farben, mal leise wie Mucks M\u00e4uschen, mal laut wie Hai \u2013 kontinuierlich ist nur das Wechselbad der Geh\u00f6re.<\/p>\n

Autumn is here, and with it the joint tramping through crinkly garbage bags. Enthusiastically thrown into air are parts of washing machines and multicolored, inexpressible sounds – domestic noise, goofiness & messy happenstance. Mesh<\/strong> perks up tired connoisseurs, with well-sorted garbage and a grotesque wheelspinning performance they tear down the wire mesh between dance and music. Their subversive symbiosis reveals the whole absurdity of domestic order.<\/em><\/p>\n
Based on the study of French horn and raku ceramics, the artist duo Senn<\/strong> transfers the principle of the uncalculableness to the combination of informally sutured, ethnographic videos and sculptural self-made instruments. Their specialty: Automated, exactly calculated and choreographed sub audio-frequencies in prepared loudspeakers shift a beater, which is fastened to a strained cord, in an oscillating motion. Thus they produce delicate, uncontrollable sounds on strings or cymbals.<\/em><\/p>\n

Unrestrained oxidation is the obsession of Rust<\/strong>; Laporte and Thigpen let latex diaphragms and 3“ tubes vibrate wildly with pneumatics and fine-mechanical precision. The complex, digital signal processing is based on gestures and mathematical arbitrariness; together the anti-control-freaks have a blast with piezos and feedback and indulge thereby the beauty of the unstable, unpredictable sound. Polyphony, dense textures and opulent colors are at times quiet as a mouse, at times loud as a shark \u2013 change is the only constant in the sea of sound.<\/em><\/p>\n
