Er lebte in den 1990ern in Amsterdam und Berlin, bevor er dem Department of Sound an der School of the Art Institute of Chicago beitrat. Er fabriziert nicht nur seine eigenen elektrischen &#8222;home-made&#8220; Schaltkreise, sondern ist auch einer der ersten K\u00fcnstler, die Mikrocomputer f\u00fcr Live-Performances eingesetzt haben. Er ist Chefredakteur des Leonardo Music Journals und sein Buch, <em>Handmade Electronic Music &#8211; The Art of Hardware Hacking<\/em> (Routledge), hat aufstrebende elektronische Musik weltweit beeinflusst.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nicolascollins.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.nicolascollins.com<\/a><\/p>\n<pre>\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/pre>\n<p><strong>Karl-F. Degenhardt<\/strong> lebt in Essen. Seine k\u00fcnstlerische Arbeit findet Musik, Happenings, Performances und Fotografie. Nicht nur, dass sein steriler und durch Angst gewachsener Minimalismus sich auf Kunst \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt und dar\u00fcber agiert &#8211; das Vergegenst\u00e4ndlichste, Abgestumpfteste, Unbedeutendste kann das Schockierendste und Intensivste sein, wenn auch unvergleichlich subtil.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kfdegenhardt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.kfdegenhardt.com<\/a><\/p>\n<pre>\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/pre>\n<p>Mit seinen sonischen Plastiken konzipiert&nbsp;<strong>Frank Schulte<\/strong> akustische Zust\u00e4nde, die skulpturale Qualit\u00e4ten haben. Akustische Realit\u00e4ten werden sonografisch inszeniert und mittels Elementen der klanglichen Verdichtung und zeitlichen Entzerrung zu Hyperrealit\u00e4ten geformt und sequentiell gegen\u00fcbergestellt. F\u00fcr die performativ-installative Inszenierung gestaltet Schulte den Raum als Tableau eigener Variationen der realen Zusammenh\u00e4nge. Acoustic realities are sonigraphically staged and formed to hyperrealities by tonal aggregation and chronological equalization. And then they are confronted with each others sequentially. For the performative-installative orchestration Schulte designs the room as tableau of own variations of real connections.
