Judy Dunaway <\/strong>ist Avant-Garde Komponistin, Konzeptk\u00fcnstlerin, kreiert Klanginstallationnen, spielt freie Improvisationen und ist vorrangig bekannt f\u00fcr ihre Arbeit mit Latex-Ballons. Seit 1990 schrieb sie \u00fcber vierzig Kompositionen f\u00fcr Ballons als Klangrohr und bestimmte ihn als ihr Instrument f\u00fcr Improvisation. Sie hat ihre Ballons seither f\u00fcr John Zorn oder Roscoe Mitchell aufgeblasen und sie bereits in der ganzen Welt auch platzen lassen.

Seine Musik wird bei Cronica, Unsounds und anderen Labels verlegt. F\u00fcr 2017 wurde er ausgew\u00e4hlt, als Artist-in-Residence des DAAD Berliner K\u00fcnstlerprogramms zu arbeiten. Au\u00dferdem arbeitet er auch mit anderem elektro-akustischen Equipment wie Tonbandger\u00e4ten, analogen Synthesizern, Effektger\u00e4ten, Kontaktmikrophonen, Haushaltsger\u00e4ten, Lautsprechern und Mischpulten.

Since 1990 she has created over forty works for balloons as sound conduits and has also made this her instrument for improvisation.
