Schuld daran ist eine s\u00fcd-indisch inspirierte Pariserin aus Tokio. Denn die ombrophile <strong>Tomoko Sauvage<\/strong> lotet, dem Zufall nicht abgeneigt, den Klangreichtum von Wasser aus. Mithilfe von Porzellanschalen, Bambusschl\u00e4geln und Unterwassermikrofonen kreiert sie gelassene, teils Gamelan-dichte, stets zarte Klanggebilde. F\u00fcr ihre aquatischen Soundscapes beugt sie Klangh\u00f6hen sowohl in bester Jaltarang-Tradition manuell, als auch per digitalem Pitchbending.<\/p>\n<p>Zwei Teller voller Schallplatten jedoch, deren BPM so manipuliert werden, dass sie genau synchron klingen \u2013 das ist eher das Metier von <strong>Marc Matter<\/strong>. Die Literatur-Experimentell-LP des Monats und Sprach-Tracks jeglicher Provenienz werden inhaltlich vom K\u00f6lner Turntablisten effektvoll ausgebremst. Mit Voice Over abstrahiert er vielf\u00e4ltigste Menschenstimmen, schichtet sie ger\u00e4uschhaft \u00fcbereinander, um sie live- zu einem r\u00e4uspernden, summenden und schmatzenden H\u00f6rspiel ohne Sinn oder Verstand zu verquirlen. Da d\u00fcrfen Hall, Delay, Pitch und Sie nat\u00fcrlich nicht fehlen!<\/p>\n<p>Aber wer sind Sie? Wie findet man sich? Und wenn ja, wo? <strong>Aki Nakazawa<\/strong>s Videos legen dem Rezipienten verschiedene Situationen dar, in denen das wandelbare Wasser wechselnde existentielle Fragen transportiert oder freisp\u00fclt. So sp\u00fcren nie zuvor gesehene Kondensstreifen hinter einer Fassade aus globalistischer Indifferenz das bikulturelle Bewusstsein der Protagonistin in der Fremde auf. Osmotische Prozesse erm\u00f6glichen den Austausch von Heimweh und Neugier. Und Loreley sinnt danach, ihren fatalistisch-s\u00e4ngerischen Stammplatz zu verlassen, um abseits vom Chauvi-Rheinfels endlich eigene Worte zu finden.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2013\u2013-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2225\" title=\"Marc Matter \/ voice over \u00a9\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mexappeal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/voiceover_matterneu.jpg\" alt=\"Marc Matter \/ voice over \u00a9\" width=\"260\" height=\"217\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2013\u2013-<\/p>\n<p><em>In the generally &#8211; and known to be acoustically \u2013 dry mex-cellar water is splashing from the ceiling. Responsible for this is a south-Indian-inspired Parisian woman from Tokyo. For the ombrophile <strong>Tomoko Sauvage<\/strong>, who is not aversed to chance, explores the rich sounds of water. By use of porcelain bowls, bamboo sticks and underwater microphones, she creates calm, sometimes gamelan-dense and always delicate sound structures. For her aquatic soundscapes she bends sound levels manually, both in best Jaltarang tradition, as well as via digital pitch bending.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> Two plates full of records, however, whose rpm will be manipulated in a way that they sound precisely synchronized \u2013 that is rather <strong>Marc Matter<\/strong>\u2019s profession. The experimental-literature-of-the-month-LP and voice-tracks of any provenance are, regarding their content, effectively thwarted by the cologne-based turntablist. With Voice Over he abstracts a wide variety of voices, he layers them noisily on top of each other, in order whisk them live into a harrumping, humming and smacking radio play without sense or reason. Hereby Hall, Delay, Pitch and you of course! may not be absent. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But who are you? How do you find oneself? And if so, where? <strong>Aki Nakazawa<\/strong>&#8217;s videos present various situations, in which the changeable water transports or exposes changing existential questions. So never before-seen contrails detect the bicultural awareness of the protagonist in exile behind a facade of global indifference. Osmotic processes enable the exchange of nostalgia and curiosity.
